Move Logistics Timaru manage loads ex Timaru which travel to Dunedin and Invercargill daily. There are repeat bookings set up for movements for MAX 4x GXTs to Dunedin CT and 2x GXTs to Invercargill CT and empty return movements back to Timaru. Move’s requirements change every day, they will advise the correct number of containers they will be sending on the day before 14:00.
Important Note:It is Domestic General’s responsibility to manage these bookings, amending the correct GYT volumes for loads and returns.
Process Steps:

Move Timaru will send an email indicating their load out for the day.

There are cover bookings in place for DT33 (Timaru to Dunedin) and I933 (Timaru to Invercargill) to be amended for example 1, or cancelled for example 2

To amend these bookings in CTMS enter “Move Logistics Timaru” into the customer name and tomorrow’s date for departure. Relevant bookings have cut off’s on the day but bookings are for 02:00am the next day. Enter each booking and amend quantity of containers/cancel booking accordingly

DNDN circuit = MAX 4x loads ex TMARU to DNDN – MTYs ex DNDN to TMARU
For DNDN empty return bookings in CTMS enter “DNDN” into Rail Origin and “TMARU” into Rail Dest and today’s date. Booking Party will be “KIWIRAIL DUNEDIN CT”
Amend/cancel booking according to load volume.
The return booking will be for the same day as arrival of load on DT33 in DNDN for T934
E.G. booking on DT33/01 will return on T934/01
Movements ex TMARU on Saturday DT33 will return on Monday T934 ex DNDN
E.G. booking on DT33/04 will return on T934/06

INGIL circuit = MAX 2x loads ex TMARU to INGIL – MTYs ex INGIL to TMARU
For INGIL empty return bookings in CTMS enter “INGIL” into Rail Origin and “TMARU” into Rail Dest and today’s date. Booking Party will be “KIWIRAIL INVERCARGILL CT”
Amend/cancel booking according to load volume.
The return booking Tuesday – Thursday will be for 2 days after loadout on I933 in INGIL for IT20/ST20 (Saturday)
E.G. booking on I933/01 will return on IT20/03
Movements ex TMARU on Friday I933 will return on Tuesday IT20 ex DNDN
E.G. booking on I933/03 will return on IT20/07
Movements ex TMARU on Saturday IF33 will return on Wednesday IT20 ex DNDN
E.G. booking on IF33/04 will return on IT20/08

As long as return bookings are amended correctly ops will not need to be advised – any confusion advise stow and CTs the volumes and they will help.
